Dylan Edwards died in a crash while pulling a 2003 tanker trailer on Route 276 in Colora, downing power lines and closing the roadway in both direction on Thursday, June 22.

"A tremendous loss was suffered early this morning. As milk haulers we know that the loss of one, ripples through many," reads a GoFundMe page launched for Edwards' family.

"This entire community felt that loss today. Almost every one of us put ourselves in the shoes of his whole family. We all stopped, held our breath, shook our heads in disbelief, said a prayer or sent a desperate plea to the heavens. We called loved ones and friends to see if they were ok, emotionally and physically."

According to the campaign, Edwards was the sole provider of his family. His fiance, Danielle, is expecting their baby girl Adalynn any day. Edwards also leaves behind his young son, Bub.

"This GoFundMe was set up to directly benefit Dylan's children and their mother, his fiancé Danielle to help with the unexpected funeral costs and costs of living they will now face without him," the campaign reads.

"No words can convey the sadness, no train of thought can make sense of things in a time like this."
